Half Frog Pose, also called as Ardha Bhekasana derives its name from Sanskrit where ‘Ardha’ means half, ‘Bheka’ means frog and ‘Asana’ means seat or pose. The pose is best for those who have flat feet and are not able to dance, run or walk for a long duration. Incorporating this pose in your daily routine has been known to prevent knee injuries, however, this benefit has not been observed in everybody.
